The FUJI HUNT C-41 X-Press Kit (5 Liters) is a high-quality chemical kit designed for processing all C-41 compatible color negative films. Originally developed for press photographers, this kit offers fast, reliable, and lab-grade results, making it ideal today for professional photographers and analog enthusiasts who want maximum control and quality in home or small-lab processing setups.
Unlike simplified kits that combine bleach and fix into a blix, this system uses separate bleach and fix baths, providing superior archival stability and image quality. The chemistry is suitable for use in manual tanks, JOBO rotary processors, or tray systems, and performs exceptionally well with both 35mm and 120 film, as well as sheet film.
The kit contains components to prepare 5 liters of working solution for each processing step:
- Film X-Press Developer (Part A + B + C)
- Film X-Press Bleach
- Film X-Press Fixer
- Film X-Press Stabilizer
- Processing Capacity (approx.): 60-80 rolls of film
Shelf Life (opened bottles):
Developer: ~3 weeks after opening; up to 3 months with protective measures.
Other components: Several months if properly sealed and stored to minimize oxidation
